Powerhouse Fitness Reviews

I've used Powerhouse Fitness for almost 2 years now and have always had a good experience. The Courier they use (XDP) however are awful. My most recent order was part delivered (nothing to do with Powerhouse - all XDP's fault) so I chased up directly with Powerhouse, I was helped by Nicole who was extremely helpful in not only getting the issue sorted, but keeping me regularly updated on the process too. It was a few days turnaround from initial contact to resolution. Thanks again Nicole, it was a pleasure.

I’ve never known a company that care less about their customers! They sent us a badly damaged and completely unusable bike. No apology and the best they will offer is 10% compensation. The staff are arrogant and aloof. An absolute joke of a company. DO NOT USE!

We bought this bike over 3 weeks ago. They still have not sorted it out yet. They are even making it difficult for us to get a refund. They have apparently commissioned a courier to come and collect our badly damaged bike but can’t even seem to organise that effectively. I have reported them to trading standards.

I wish I’d read the Trust Pilot reviews before purchasing this bike. It says an awful lot when the second single highest number of individual reviews is 1/5. Reading the reviews, you are either lucky to get a functioning piece of equipment, in which case you are happy. Or you have a damaged product, and you are then dealing with the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. Just get the equipment from else where and save you self the stress.

We were sent a completely broken bike and they have never once apologised. We are almost having to beg to get our money back and we still don’t have it back. These guys are crooks.

They also never call back when they say they will, or email. One woman tried to tell me they had a “24 working hours” call back system. When I challenged her on this highly unlikely policy, she guaranteed me this was the case. Needless to say I didn’t get a call back in either 24 actual, or working hours. The next lady I spoke to confirmed the 24 working hours policy was indeed a lie.

I was then promised an email back on the same day from a manager, 3 days later and I have no such email.

Sold an item that wasn’t in stock and sent the wrong item instead. Collected it 2 days later, 10 days later I’m still waiting for the refund. No response to emails. Likely going to have to claim through my credit card.

Definitely recommend Powerhouse fitness for gym equipment. The staff were very helpful when selecting equipment for my home gym. Purchased an olympic bar and Hi impact bumper plate set which are very good quality. Just waiting for my functional trainer to arrive.

Bort a marcy leg extention bench and it awesome well made sturdy and looks amazing powerhouse team are all lovely and quick to get back to you and sort any problems out u might hv 10 / 10 to them all and the products they sell will always buy from again

Worst company ever, never received any of the items I ordered, the delivery company xdp faked my signature and took a photo of a box in the back of there van to make out they delivered my items. Now waiting for a fefund on PayPal so I can reorder the same items from a more reputable company.

Never used Powerhouse Fitness before but needed some dumbbells. Good price and had them in stock. Came very quickly. Nice website with loads of different makes. Will be using them again.

Bought a few bits from Powerhouse now and they're always fantastic quality at a really reasonable price. The squat rack I bought from them wouldn't be out of place in a commercial gym. Cheers.

I had numerous items in my basket and couldn't apply a discount code I had. I emailed and Lauren replied instantly and within a few emails sorted my order out and was extremely helpful. Customer service 100%!

Very impressed with the aftercare I received.
My daughter purchased a treadmill last year which she has really enjoyed training on.
Sadly a fault has developed which was not on the manual so I gave Powerhouse a call, I got through to a very helpful young lady Kirsty who straight away took all my details and information on my fault, I received an email letting me know the details were all logged. Kirsty advised me she would look into this and call me back shortly. True to her word I received a call within 30 minutes.. yes that is right within 30 minutes with advice on my fault and how they were going to resolve it.
I have honestly never had such wonderful after care service and look forward to having a happy daughter training once again.

I have had an ongoing issue with this machine but I must say I have always found Powerhouse to be supportive, apologetic and keen rectify the problem even though it has been frustrating for both sides. A totally professional firm.
